PMS-300 vibration monitoring system is a modular 19″ rack system designed for protection and monitoring of rotating machinery. The 3U version provides 1 slot for the PMS-340 reference module card, 8 slots for the PMS-314 4-channel measurement module cards & PMS-330/PMS-331 relay controllers. The system is also available in 6U if additional channels and/or redundant power supply are required. BNC connectors are provided on the front panel for external analysis.

The PMS-340 reference signal card collects and distributes common information to/from all PMS-314s in the rack. This information is typically: Reference signals (2 channels), mode of OTP selection, and digital monitoring parameters via Modbus.

For each channel, the PMS-314 process module system provides analog (4-20 mA) and digital outputs (alarm, danger, sensor ok, system ok) based on calculated parameters and alarm settings.

An Ethernet interface is available for configuration and communication with software packages in real time with CMS-500. The PMS-330/PMS-331 module enables configuration of the relays by logical linking and transmission of the operating parameters to CMS-500 (via analog inputs or Modbus interface).
