tand-alone 5-channel (4x dynamic signals and 1x reference signal) process monitoring module for protection and monitoring of rotating machinery.

Voltage inputs of PMM-305 allow direct connection to sensors with voltage output or raw signal outputs of existing monitoring devices (without additional hardware interface thanks to extended input range from -24 V to +24 V).

Individual alarm and danger limit values are configurable for each channel with 2x OTP modes (via digital input) and with up to 16 OTP modes (via Modbus) (OTP = different limit values for different plant conditions). In addition, PMM-305 can provide the data to SCADA/PLC with its two dedicated slave Modbus interfaces (TCP and RTU).

The system is supplied with PMx-300 Manager real-time software for visualization and configuration of data in real time via Ethernet using TCP/IP protocol. The Ethernet port is also used to communicate with the CMS-500 Orca for long-term trending and machine health analysis.

The following is an example of using multiple PMM-305s to connect sensors and third-party devices to the CMS-500 Orca condition monitoring system. By default, up to 32 PMM-305s can be connected to the same CMS-500 server.
