Thermal disinfection of cooling lubricant by means of low pressure hot cleaning systems
For many years the ph-cleantec low pressure hot cleaning technique is successfully utilised by many users for gentle and efficient cleaning of tool machines. As medium the cooling lubricant in the machine is used.
With the option 1000 EK ph-cleantec presents this technique also for the continuous thermal disinfection of cooling lubricants.
Thus the well-known combination of low pressure and high medium temperature is modified in such way that the cooling lubricant is heated to approx. 65° C in the flow heater. The processing time is sufficient for a significant reduction of the germs. The system additionally has a heat recovery so that the return emulsion is cooled down and the energy consumption is considerably reduced. Both the inlet temperature (intake air temperature) as well as the return temperature are monitored so that the max. bath temperature can be adjusted by the customer.
The device can be operated in by-pass mode.
The user dispenses with the environmentally hazardous and harmful biocides/fungicides; the essential characteristic of the media are retained through the regular care. The option 1000 EK is available for the series 1000 SRE and 1000SR. Alternatively the thermal disinfection can also be supplied as a stand-alone device in the version Thermo EK.
For the user this is an ideal combination for the care of his tool machine and the cooling lubricant. When filling the unit for the first time as well as regular cleaning the machine quickly and efficiently with the low pressure hot cleaning device also in heavily accessible places and, if necessary, reducing the bacterial attack in the bypass.
In conjunction with an mounted-on parts cleaning bath the ph-cleantec method can be used also for mobile cleaning in the maintenance e.g. for filters, pumps, motors or component degreasing and serial cleaning.
