BestSens AG, is pleased to announce the election of Dr. Hans-Willi Keßler to the Supervisory Board. As a newly elected member of the Supervisory Board, he will be able to contribute his extensive and long-standing expertise to the company from September 1, 2024.
Dr. Keßler is a founding partner of today’s Schaeffler Monitoring Services GmbH. He was involved in numerous VDI and DIN committees and headed the certified DIN/ISO 18436-2 training center “Vibration Diagnosis” at the Herzogenrath site near Aachen.
“We are delighted to welcome Dr. Keßler to the Supervisory Board,” says CEO Sebastian Stich. “With his more than 25 years of experience in the fields of condition monitoring (with a focus on vibration diagnostics) and predictive maintenance, Dr. Keßler will make an important contribution to further advancing our technological innovations and strengthening our strategic direction.”
“I am very pleased to be able to make a contribution to the further strategic orientation based on active ultrasonic measurement technology. This method and the BestSens hardware and software solutions are ideally suited for monitoring any processes in which friction plays a significant role, even in non-rotational or non-periodic motion forms, including seals, plain bearings or pumps,” says Dr. Keßler about his appointment.
At the same time, we would like to thank Bernhard Höfer, who will be stepping down as Chairman of the Supervisory Board on August 31, 2024 after many years of dedicated service. During his term of office, Mr. Höfer has made a significant contribution to the success and further development of the company since BestSens AG was founded. This has enabled BestSens to achieve key strategic milestones, such as the introduction of bearing condition monitoring with the BeMoS one controller, the sensorized mechanical seal and the DOT platform.
