About the company
IANUS Simulation GmbH is a German deep tech scale-up and software developer headquartered in Dortmund with additional offices in Bielefeld, Berlin and Darmstadt. Since its foundation in 2006, IANUS has evolved from a traditional engineering office to a simulation-as-a-service company and currently employs an interdisciplinary team of more than 70 people.

IANUS develops customizable simulation technologies to solve highly complex fluidic processes in a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, automotive, building services, chemical engineering, microtechnology and life sciences. By using the latest digital technologies such as parametric digital twins, fully automated multiphysics simulations and AI assistance systems, industrial customers can design their machines and processes faster, more resource-efficiently and with higher quality. In addition to the pure project business, IANUS also offers its solutions as part of the first fully scalable simulation-as-a-service ecosystem StrömungsRaum®. Via cloud access, industrial customers can access a highly automated framework anytime and anywhere and carry out and evaluate simulations themselves without expert knowledge or expensive digital infrastructure. AI assistance systems support engineers by generating concrete suggestions for process optimization. This allows them to get the maximum performance out of their machines and processes with minimal effort.
